Thank you Victoria!

When Victoria Hirst celebrated her 30th birthday, she asked her friends and family to make donations to Hollybank instead of buying her birthday presents. Victoria has speech and language difficulties and wanted to support Hollybank because of the emphasis we put on helping our students with communication. Her amazing act of kindness and generosity raised £500.

A generous donation from the George Hotel.

The George Hotel of Dewsbury presented Hollybank with a cheque for £2,000 raised through bingo, race nights, dominos and raffles. We are extremely grateful to landlord Mr Bonner and all The George Hotel’s customers for their support.

Termrim Construction staff tame the Three Peaks!

Staff at Termrim Construction, Huddersfield gave up a weekend in May to raise funds for Hollybank, by taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The 25 mile walk combines the Penyghent, Whernside and Inglebrough summits, and should traditionally be completed within 12 hours. With hard work and dedication, all participants completed the Challenge within the time limit, despite the windy, rainy and foggy conditions. Thanks Termrim!
