Information Services
The Information Services team look after the technical infrastructure that underpins a wide range of activities within the Trust. We are pleased to have acquired the support services of Systems Integration & Cabling Limited to assist us in the routine maintenance and ongoing development of our central services. The Information Services team's responsibilities include:
- maintenance and development of the Trust’s wide area network
- maintenance and development of central file, email and intranet servers
- data security and backup
- provision and maintenance of IT-related equipment including desktop computers, portable computers and printers
- provision and maintenance of voice communications equipment including telephones, mobile phones and personal radios
- responding to enquiries logged through our IT Support desk
- working with the Assistive Technology team to promote independence via the innovative use of technology
- liaising with external suppliers and maintenance engineers
- investigating and implementing new IT services
- staff IT training
