Nursing

Holly Court and Roe Head have 24 hour nursing cover, seven days a week, 52 weeks of the year. There is extra 24 hour nursing cover during the holidays for nursing respite as well as advisory nursing service at other times of the holiday.

Nursing care.

The local GP visits weekly during term time and also acts in an advisory capacity at other times. In addition a paediatrician visits the school regularly during term time to review young people's progress and discuss any outstanding medial concerns the nursing team may have.

Regular visits are also made to the school by Optical Services, Dietician, Dentist, Dental Hygeinist and Aromatherpist. We also have access to Podiatry on an as needs basis.

Nursing care.

Communication is important and therefore we work closely with students, families and carers in any decision making process.

Our main role is to maintain the general health and well being of our young people ensuring a good quality of life.
