Occupational Therapy
The occupational therapist works closely with the physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and nursing staff. The Trust employs 2 occupational therapists to work in children's and adult services. The physiotherapy assistants also support these staff.
The occupational therapist has responsibility for:
- Equipment provision
- moving & handling issues
- development of daily living skills to further independence
- advising on access and assistive technology
