Bread is a staple food item in the majority of households across the UK - Hollybank’s ten residential homes are no different.

That’s why we were delighted when Mirfield’s Girl Army paid us a visit, not once, but twice over the past couple of weeks to drop off generous donations of bread and other food items for our support workers, and the children, young people and adults who live here, to enjoy.

We are extremely grateful to The Girl Army for their generosity and for including us among the growing collection of local organisations and individuals they support. Donations such as these give our key workers a boost, which is appreciated now more than ever before.

One of the sayings we live by here at Hollybank is ‘be kind’, and it warms our hearts to have been continuously showed such kindness during these challenging times. We continue to be overwhelmed by this support and are forever grateful to all organisations who choose to donate to us.
