Things may look a little different next time you visit our main Roe Head site. Our maintenance team have launched a project on our main Roe Head site. They have now installed some traffic flow plates that will be placed at entrance and exit of our site.

We decided to remove the access barriers as they have caused some issues over the years with large vehicles, and more importantly emergency service vehicles as they often don’t activate the barrier which can delay their response time to emergency situations on site.

The one-way flow plates are more effective and slow traffic just the right amount, without effecting emergency response times.

We will still operate a one- way system on site and remind you to please take care and stick to the 15mph speed limit that applies.

Installing one-way flow plates is phase one of the project and phase two will begin in April, check back for updates on the next phase of the traffic project.
