Little pips (0-5yrs) Little Pips is our support group for babies and children with profound disabilities and complex needs, aged between 0-5. Our little Pip’s service also offers specialist training and support for the parents of children with profound disabilities and complex health needs. We offer a wide range of sensory activities in a safe and stimulating environment, all on our main site in Mirfield. Our Little Pip’s sessions are staffed by a multi-disciplinary team including a qualified teacher and other professionals, including staff able to give advice around therapy. We are able to offer support with things such as early messy play, communication, sensory development, hydrotherapy, sleep and routines. As well as singing and signing, your child can enjoy soft play, use our sensory room, dark room and our disability friendly outside play area. We have a hydro therapy pool to help build water confidence too. In these sessions, our team help to provide the support that parents require in order to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to enable them to support and engage with their children with more confidence. We are also able to signpost the families we support to other services that may benefit them. Little Pip’s provides a safe and accepting environment for parents facing similar experiences and offers them the chance to socialise with other parents who understand the difficulties they face. The Little Pip’s group meet on a Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9.30-11.30 during term-time only. If you'd like any further info on our Little Pip's service, you can make an enquiry here.
