Diversity and inclusion

Hollybank is a happy place, full of love and acceptance. We are all different, but we celebrate these differences, promoting understanding and tolerance not only among our own workforce, but wider with all the other organisations and individuals we work with.

As an organisation that champions people’s differences and everyone’s right to live a full and happy life, diversity and inclusion forms part of our DNA. We strive for an organisation whose workforce reflects the communities we operate in.

We know we’ve got work to do but we are committed to driving change.

When you work for Hollybank, we promise that:

We will support you

Whatever your role here at Hollybank, we will provide you with the support and guidance you need to do your job well.

We will listen to you

Working in the health and social care sector isn’t easy, if there are additional steps we need to take so you can do your job well, you just need to ask.

We will give you the freedom to be yourself

Social care is a highly regulated sector and we have high standards, but you will be given the freedom to work within the boundaries we have.

There are a number of diversity and inclusion measures we’re working towards - we will focus on improving our outcomes in these areas over the next twelve months:

  • Black, Asian and ethnic minority employees
  • Disabled employees
  • Gender balance

You can read our current Gender Pay Gap report, here.
